First Swap-N-Shop!!
RULES FOR ITEMS BROUGHT...1. Anything goes...you're welcome to bring small furniture, home decor, baby items, kids/adult clothes, accessories, kitchen items, purses, CD's/books, games, etc... It's definitely not limited to clothes!
2. Please make sure everything is in really good condition. Items should be clean, in working order, organized, etc... Please bag smaller items, such as accessories, so they don't get lost. Items should be desirable for other women to go home with.
3. Clothes: please put kids' clothes into "lots" (ie: 5 boy items, size 3T should be tied up with a ribbon) Adult clothes should be clean, wrinkle-free and on hangers. You'll receive one ticket for each "lot" of kids' clothes, and one ticket for each adult item.
4. When you arrive, you'll be putting a labeling tag on each item/set of items. Please be prepared to give a description of each thing. (ie: white 8X10 picture frame)
5. Once you label and hand items over, they will be anonymous! No one else will know who has brought what...shhh, don't tell!
6. Looking forward to some fun, girl time!!
It's our first, ever Swap-N-Shop! It's going to be so fun!! Here's how it goes....
1. clean out and collect any gently used items that are desirable (anything goes - small furniture, household goods, baby items, kitchen items, women's/children's clothes, accessories and shoes...all clothes clean and on hangers; smaller, similar items bunched together in a "lot")
2. bring it with you to the party
3. give over ALL control of your items to the hostesses
4. get a "shopping" ticket for each item you bring
5. mingle and snack and imbibe while we sort your stuff
6. at 7:45, let loose and use your "shopping" tickets to make your purchases
7. by 8:45 commence shopping and collect your "new" treasures
8. have the thrill of shopping without spending a dime
